It just ocurred to me that you might want to request the records of any other settlements by the Department of Law that were paid from "sufficient money in an agency's budget" instead of listing them in the the Department of Law's or the settling agency's budget request. Sounds like an easy way to hide a settlement from public scrutiny if an agency wants to avoid disclosure. Just squeeze it out of the agency's existing budget somehow; then no one knows it happened because there's no possibility of systematic oversight.
Another thread to pull is the wrongful termination of students from the U of A system because of beyond sloppy and negligent student conduct investigations.
