Our governor explained that Alaska’s Constitution ‘requires’ the development of its resources to fund governmental costs and operations. Did he tell then that between himself and governors Parnell and Walker that they gave most of those monies to a few of the richest foreign corporations on earth? That is somewhere in the range of Ten Billion dollars, maybe Alaska would have well funded schools and replacement Marine Highway ferrys.
🤔. Carbon capture, nope. Another fantasy. It seems there is a gnashing of teeth and a restless response to oil prices continuing to fade. All hands on deck. We are listing to the port side ever so slowly it seems. Iceland was an interesting trip I bet. I believe it’s a geothermal power generator or something of that nature, with the vast natural resources Alaska has to offer im sure someone somewhere will see the street value. I noticed not a peep about LNG. Maybe that boondoggle has been finally bled dry by all those who profited handsomely to its 40 yr facade.
