The inaugural edition of Interesting Stuff has items on the Southeast Alaska troll lawsuit, the timber controversy in Yakutat, a new pro-family advisor for the governor and a renewable energy project.
This "stuff" is the kind of Alaska brain food I have huge interest in. Karl is is a walking news machine worth paying attention to at all times. I also like seeing the real efforts happening on the Corporations front. Its great to get to read the uninterpretted facts
of matters. Good work guy!
Pretty soon I'll be upgrading in spite of my reluctance about Substack. Unfortunately I read their terms and privacy info a couple of years ago.
Excellent idea! I particularly like the "stuff" on Trident and Unalaska. The proposal sounds great; the mention of AIDEA and Bernie Karl's involvement are two red flags. This does not sound like it is in AIDEA's wheelhouse. Bernie Karl, on the other hand, separately, may be a valuable resource, but his reputation and association with AIDEA precede him. This definitely deserves a deeper dive to verify the technical assumptions and ferret out what benefits the AIDEA cronies may gain.
Love the donuts. Really good idea. The Peter Pan piece is intriguing. It's almost as if they took the state money and ran.
