Subsequent reporting should consider the life cycle of the nuclear material used to power these minipower plants, its source, transport to & from the powerplant site &, most importantly, how & where it is proposed to be disposed.

Several decades ago, there was a micro-reactor at Fort Greely, near Delta Junction. It was shut down in 1972 and had issues with leaks. Very interesting! So after the bidding closes someone gets a stab at it? I’ve been there. It’s really all about who you know in military contracts not price or performance or anything relevant to the actual bidding process. Somebody’s uncle Bob will keep

Bethel burns over three million gallons of fuel producing electricity a year. The cost of fuel is at least $10 million a year... No rocket science needed, put one in Bethel.
